ILLIT Shares Heartfelt Moments on Their First Trip Together
ILLIT deepened their connection during their premiere journey post-debut, stirring up warm feelings among fans.
This past February 10th, ILLIT dropped the final installment of their personally curated series ‘I’LL LIKE IT! 2’ named ‘Tricked into embarking on a trip’ on their dedicated YouTube hub.
The crew commenced their closing evening of the excursion with a cozy pajama showcase. Yunah rocked a wolf look, Minju stunned as a panda, Wonhee embodied a bear, Iroha transformed into a dinosaur, and Moka embraced the fox persona, showcasing their enchanting camaraderie. Amidst playful admiration of each other’s attire, reminiscent of high school antics, the melodious tune of ‘Cherish (My Love)’ wafted in from outside, prompting an excited dash outdoors.
Just before the festivities kicked off, the squad unveiled their clandestine missions. Moka’s covert task, involving sneaking soybean crackers into everyone’s coats, remained under wraps until executed flawlessly with her swift wit. Despite some unexpected hurdles, Wonhee and Iroha also conquered their challenges with finesse.
As the barbecue feast unfolded, ILLIT’s impeccable teamwork took center stage. Despite Yunah and Minju tackling culinary duties as a penalty, the group, under Wonhee’s guidance, flawlessly coordinated meal preparations. In a poignant gesture, Iroha shared the rice from her mission dish, fostering a heartwarming and jubilant atmosphere.
Come nightfall, the crew huddled around a flickering campfire for a covert gift exchange. The members delivered heartfelt letters to their specially designated peers, professing deep gratitude, and traded meticulously selected presents, culminating in a deeply sentimental interlude. Reflecting on the trip’s closure, the members mused, “Being part of the gourmet club solo would have been enjoyable, but crafting memories together with the team made it truly special. Living up to our moniker, ‘ILLIT (eat),’ we dined heartily, frolicked, and forged cherished bonds.”
In parallel, ILLIT’s track "Almond Chocolate," featured in the Japanese film ‘i just don’t like my face’, is scheduled for release on February 14th. With a robust following in Japan pre-official debut, fans are eagerly counting down to their inaugural original Japanese release.
