Diddy Leverages Alexander Brothers’ Trafficking Scandal in Defense Strategy
/Article

Diddy is counting on a recent legal victory involving real estate tycoons, the Alexander Brothers, to strengthen his defense against sexual assault lawsuits, including one brought by model Crystal McKinney.

The ruling from U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan has become a crucial lifeline for the Hip-Hop icon as he battles historic allegations. The Alexander Brothers, Oren, Alon, and Tal, faced accusations of drugging and trafficking women over years, leveraging their real estate status to lure victims with false promises.

Arrested on federal sex trafficking charges, the brothers allegedly used various substances to incapacitate victims. Over 30 women have come forward with allegations against them.

A civil lawsuit against the brothers was dismissed by Judge Kaplan, citing legal technicalities now seized upon by Diddy's legal team to challenge McKinney’s claims of assault in 2003.

McKinney alleges that Diddy drugged and assaulted her in a NYC studio, leading to lasting emotional trauma. Referencing the Alexander case ruling, Diddy's lawyers argue that McKinney's claims are time-barred, potentially setting the stage to dismiss multiple lawsuits against him.

While Kaplan’s decision centered on procedural matters, not the accusations, Diddy’s team is hopeful it will serve as a linchpin in defending him against McKinney’s and other allegations.
