South Korean actor Song Joong Ki hosted his first fan meeting in Manila on May 24 as the newly appointed brand ambassador of Philippines-based wellness company IAM Worldwide. Song Joong Ki expressed his excitement about visiting Manila for the first time and was surprised by the packed venue of Mall of Asia Arena where the event was held.

During the fan meeting, Song Joong Ki engaged in a Q&A session with the host. When questioned about why his dramas resonate deeply with Filipino fans, he turned the question back to the audience, prompting a fan to suggest his "bad boy image" might be a reason. Song Joong Ki expressed gratitude for the fans' love and curiosity about their interest in his dramas.

The actor shared insights about his acting career, including a discussion about his popular drama 'Vincenzo'. He highlighted memorable scenes such as the final episode's kiss and the vineyard fire from the first episode. Song Joong Ki also revealed his aspiration to portray diverse roles, mentioning a unique vampire character in the fantasy genre as a dream role.

Currently, Song Joong Ki is set to star in an upcoming drama called 'My Youth', in which he plays the character Hae Sun Woo, a florist. The fan meeting in Manila was presented by IAM Worldwide in collaboration with lead promoter PUBLICITYASIA.

Additionally, the second season of 'Reborn Rich' is in production with new characters and an expanded storyline.
