Popular boy band POW has disclosed the launch of their third EP, marking their return on June 27th KST.

On May 13th at midnight KST, their management, GRID Entertainment, heightened excitement by releasing a teaser poster via their official social media platforms. The poster, set against a backdrop of lush greenery, displayed vibrant orange and yellow visuals exuding a fun and energetic vibe that mirrors POW's dynamic aura and gives a glimpse into the upcoming album's atmosphere.

This comeback holds special significance as leader Yochi took on a crucial role in producing the new album, infusing it with a personalized touch that captures POW's distinct style. The EP features a selection of lively, upbeat tracks and visuals inspired by a blend of 'POW-teen + European youth culture,' enhancing the group's characteristic youthful spirit.

Despite the gap between releases, POW has stayed engaged with fans through various creative ventures. In February, they dropped the special single 'Gimme Love,' which garnered an enthusiastic response from both local and international supporters. Additionally, they demonstrated their acting prowess in the self-produced web drama 'Always Be There,' providing the soundtrack as well, showcasing their versatile talents and aspirations uncommon among rookie acts.

Moreover, POW's reach has expanded through diverse variety content and regular interaction on multiple platforms, demonstrating their capability to maintain visibility and connection with fans even during breaks. Despite originating from a medium-sized agency, POW has been steadily gaining traction with their multifaceted talents encompassing music, visuals, video content, and variety show abilities.

According to an agency representative, “The upcoming EP will offer a comeback that energizes fans with the same positive spirit found in the fandom name ‘Power.’ Fans can anticipate more mature music and stage performances.”

POW's third EP is scheduled to drop on June 27, officially commencing their comeback promotions.
