Nam Tae Hyun, a singer, has decided to cancel his upcoming comeback performance at 'K-pop Week in Hongdae' due to a recent drug scandal. Originally slated to perform on May 6 and present a new song for his return to the stage, he faced significant public criticism that led to the event's cancellation.

Even though the event organizer, Yoon Hyung Bin, expressed hopes for Nam Tae Hyun to make a genuine comeback and showcase his sincere side during the performance, the plans were abandoned. 'K-pop Week in Hongdae' is a music festival running from April 11 to May 11 in Seoul's Hongdae district, focusing on creating a closer connection between fans and artists through intimate live shows rather than large-scale arena performances.
