Lee Sang Min, a 51-year-old singer and TV personality formerly part of the group Roo'ra, has made headlines with news of his recent marriage after two decades. His new spouse, a businesswoman ten years his junior, and Lee Sang Min dated for about three months before deciding to tie the knot.

Reported by Star News on May 2, Lee Sang Min and his wife started a serious relationship earlier this year and chose to get married after a short three-month courtship. Despite the brevity of their dating period, they developed a strong bond built on trust and deepening emotions.

Born in 1983, his new wife is an entrepreneur who is not in the entertainment industry. Lee Sang Min apparently shared with close friends that they initially met at a business meeting.

The couple officially registered their marriage at a district office in Seoul on April 30 and opted not to have a formal wedding ceremony. A spokesperson for Lee Sang Min confirmed to Star News that they decided to forego a ceremony but plan to have a small celebration later with their loved ones.

Their marriage registration process will be shown on the May 11 episode of the SBS show 'My Little Old Boy,' on which Lee Sang Min has been a regular cast member since 2017, known for his thrifty lifestyle.

Currently, he is also featuring in SBS’s 'Dolsing Fourmen' alongside fellow divorced entertainers Tak Jae Hoon, Im Won Hee, and Kim Jun Ho. SBS has not addressed how Lee Sang Min's recent marriage will impact his future on the program.

Previously wed to singer and entertainer Lee Hye Young in 2004, the couple divorced the following year. His recent marriage announcement, made on his personal social media on April 30, marks his remarriage after two decades.

In his post, Lee Sang Min revealed, “I’ve discovered a profound love. I wish to embark on the next chapter of my life with her. She's someone who inspired me to protect her through any adversity, and I genuinely believe we can lead a happy life together.”

He continued, “Because she is a precious find later in my life, I have been cautious, which is why I delayed sharing the news. It might come as a surprise, but I would be grateful for your joy and blessings. I aim to live with greater responsibility to reciprocate the support and encouragement I've received.”
