In recent news from YTN Star on May 2 KST, actor Kim Soo Hyun is currently involved in a new lawsuit related to an advertising contract, valued at around 2.8 billion KRW (~ $2 million USD).

A brand named 'D' has taken legal action against Kim Soo Hyun, submitting a claim for damages at the Seoul Central District Court on April 25 KST. The brand alleges that the Hallyu star breached his advertising agreement due to recent controversies.

Previously, two other brands had also sued Kim Soo Hyun over issues stemming from his personal life scandals, which included allegations of a relationship with the late actress Kim Sae Ron when she was a minor.

Kim Soo Hyun's team has consistently refuted these allegations, stating that any relationship with Kim Sae Ron commenced only after she reached adulthood. The actor's representatives have initiated legal proceedings against Kim Sae Ron's family and the YouTube channel HOVERLAB, accusing them of spreading false information, harassment, and defamation.

Additionally, there are reports of an attorney representing the late Kim Sae Ron's family being called out regarding allegations of misconduct.
