Monsta X member I.M is taking a temporary break from his commitments to focus on regaining his health. Sony Music Korea, his label, released an official statement on May 24 KST, explaining that I.M had visited the hospital due to health issues and was advised by medical professionals to reduce his workload and take adequate rest for recovery. The statement emphasized that I.M's well-being is their top priority, and as a result, his upcoming activities, including group obligations, will be adjusted accordingly. The label asked for understanding from fans as they support I.M in his recovery efforts. In the meantime, Kihyun and Jooheon, also from Monsta X, will be special DJs for the KBS Cool FM radio program 'Kiss The Radio' until May 25 KST. Additionally, Monsta X announced their return to stage as a six-member group for their 2025 concert, 'Connect X'.
