Based on information from industry sources, BLACKPINK recently wrapped up a photo shoot for their upcoming album cover in Seoul. This marks their first group comeback in almost three years, following the release of 'Born Pink' in September 2022.

The album is said to be overseen by YG Entertainment's executive producer Yang Hyun Suk, who is reportedly heavily involved in its production. The photo shoot for the album cover is believed to have had a global scope, highlighting the group's global recognition.

Yang Hyun Suk hinted at BLACKPINK's return on the YG blog on May 26th, suggesting that news about their new song would be shared soon. Since the photo shoot is already done, it appears that the group is gearing up for a full album release rather than just a single.

Having completed individual projects, all four members - Jennie, Rosé, Jisoo, and Lisa - are anticipated to transition to group activities and intensify their preparations for the comeback.
