Binance exchange has revealed its intention to introduce the Tokyo Games Token (TGT) and include it in its Alpha program token list. Alongside the listing, Binance Alpha will carry out a TGT airdrop for selected users.

The upcoming addition of Tokyo Games Token to the Binance Alpha program is set to begin trading on Wednesday, May 21. This move will establish Binance as the first platform to offer TGT to its users.

Tokyo Games Token, developed by Play3 Ltd., aims to enhance gaming experiences and support various high-end gaming titles within its ecosystem using the TGT token. The token, with a capped supply of 1 billion, will serve as the primary in-game currency for the TOKYO BEAST blockchain game.

In addition to listing TGT, Binance Alpha will host a TGT airdrop for eligible users. These users will need to utilize Binance Alpha Points to claim their airdrop, and further details will be provided on the Alpha event page on May 21.

Furthermore, aside from Binance Alpha, TGT is expected to be listed on other prominent exchanges like Bybit, MEXC Global, KuCoin, and QuickSwap, expanding its accessibility internationally and boosting liquidity in the market.

Plans are also underway to issue and make TGT tradable on Immutable zkEVM, a network known for its high speed and low fees. Additionally, some TGT tokens will be airdropped to the Immutable ecosystem.

Following this news, the price of TGT has surged by almost 15% according to data from GeckoTerminal, with the token currently trading at $0.01576.
