Director Lee Byunghun, initially tasked with overseeing Kim Eunsook's upcoming Netflix series 'Everything Will Come True,' has unexpectedly stepped down from the project.

On the 27th, a Netflix representative stated, "Director Lee Byunghun has resigned from his role in 'Everything Will Come True' citing personal reasons. The production team will now take charge of the final stages of the series, with team members from various departments working together on the production."

The representative further mentioned, "We appreciate your understanding as we are unable to provide further information on the specific timing or causes of the director's departure."

'Everything Will Come True,' which has completed filming, revolves around a genie, an emotionally charged spirit confined to a lamp, and a woman who releases the genie, leading to a clash over three wishes. The series features a star-studded cast including Kim Woobin, Suzy, Ahn Eunjin, Noh Sanghyun, and Go Kyupil.

From the production phase, the series has garnered considerable interest due to the prominent cast involved and the collaboration between renowned writer Kim Eunsook, known for hit series like 'Secret Garden,' 'Mr. Sunshine,' 'Goblin,' 'Descendants of the Sun,' and 'The Glory,' and director Lee Byunghun, recognized for his work on the films 'Twenty' and 'Extreme Job,' as well as the drama 'Melo is My Nature.'

The official release date for the series is yet to be announced.
