On the 26th, V communicated with fans via the Weverse fan community, sending well wishes for the ongoing holiday season. Expressing excitement about his impending return to civilian life after serving in the military, he shared, "I’ve been putting in a lot of work during my time in the military! The wait won't be much longer now! Can't wait to reunite with you all soon," sparking anticipation among fans.
Responding to inquiries from fans, V hinted at his physical transformation by sharing, "I'm snapping pictures and heading back!" In reply to a heartfelt fan message expressing longing and love, he responded with a simple, "Yes, me too."
After successfully passing the entrance exam for the Capital Defense Command's Special Mission Team (SDT) and enlisting as an active-duty soldier in December 2023, V underwent additional training at the Army General Administration School before being stationed in a unit. Currently, he serves as an outstanding member of the Special Forces Unit within the Military Police Corps under the 2nd Army Corps in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province.
Prior to his enlistment, V made a pledge to fans during a live broadcast, vowing to reach a weight of 86 kg. His physical transformation has since become a popular topic of discussion, with his discharge set for June 10, just a few months away, eagerly awaited by fans who closely monitor his progress.
While V prepares to return, the rest of the BTS members are fulfilling their military service commitments. Jin remains active in various endeavours, including the web variety show "Run Seok Jin," and J-Hope is gearing up for his inaugural world tour, "Hope On The Stage," commencing on February 28.
