Izna's Yoon Ji Yoon to Take Temporary Hiatus for Health Reasons, Group Continues as Six Members

In a recent update on the 19th, izna's agency, Wake One, conveyed through their official fan page that Yoon Ji Yoon will be pausing activities temporarily to focus on recuperating from health concerns. The agency emphasized prioritizing the artist's well-being and ensuring sufficient time for rest and recovery.

"We ask for your understanding during this period, as we aim to support Izna in maintaining good health and connection with their fans," the agency shared.

Izna, the girl group originating from Mnet's 'I-Land 2', made a splash with their debut album, collaborating with producer Teddy. Their message of self-definition and empowerment shines through in their debut album 'N/a,' released in November last year. The title track 'IZNA' mirrors the group's identity, resonating with their journey.

Initially composed of Choi Jung Eun, Bang Ji Min, Yoon Ji Yoon, Coco, Yoo Sa Rang, and Mai, Izna's lineup expanded during 'I-Land 2' with the addition of Jung Se Bi, totaling seven members under the surprise inclusion by main producer Taeyang.

Izna has actively engaged with fans worldwide through music broadcasts and performances like 'LAPOSTA 2025'. The group's rising popularity led to recognition as "K-pop Rookies to Watch This Year" by Grammy.com. Their overseas presence is undeniable, as they clinched top spots on Japan's Apple Music K-pop Album Chart and Rakuten Music Chart post-debut.
