The entertainment industry is mourning the loss of the talented actress Kim Sae Ron as news of her passing spreads sorrow.

Tragically, Kim Sae Ron was discovered deceased at her residence in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, by the Seoul Seongdong Police Station on February 16, around 5:54 PM KST. She was on the brink of turning 25.

In response to the devastating news, GOLDMEDALIST, Kim Sae Ron's former agency, issued a heartfelt statement expressing their deep sorrow. "We are profoundly saddened by the tragic news of Kim Sae Ron's passing. Our thoughts are with her loved ones during this difficult time, and we pray for her eternal peace."

GOLDMEDALIST is also the current agency representing actor Kim Soo Hyun, who was previously linked in dating rumors with Kim Sae Ron following a social media post showing them together last March. Coincidentally, the announcement of Kim Sae Ron's passing coincided with Kim Soo Hyun's birthday.

Remarkably, GOLDMEDALIST had provided financial support to Kim Sae Ron following her DUI incident in 2022. In May of that year, Kim Sae Ron was involved in a drunken driving mishap in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, causing damage to property and disrupting businesses due to a power outage.

Despite covering the associated penalties and fees, GOLDMEDALIST and Kim Sae Ron decided to part ways when her contract expired in December of the same year.
