Coi Leray's Mysterious New Project Title Sparks Speculation

Less than a year ago, Coi Leray made a vow to halt releasing new music following a public outcry. However, she has now signed a new deal and is set to unveil a new project.

Recently, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that Coi Leray has joined Epic Records, embarking on a fresh chapter in her musical journey. In addition to this exciting news, she has switched management to Cory Litwin at Range Media Partners.

In anticipation of her upcoming EP "What Happened to Forever," scheduled for release on February 12, fans are buzzing with curiosity about the cryptic title. Many speculate that it could be a reference to her breakup with Trippie Redd, the father of her child.

Prior to Epic Records, Leray released music under Republic Records and Island Records, under the Universal Music Group umbrella. In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, Leray expressed gratitude towards Epic Records for understanding and supporting her artistic vision without imposing restrictions.

This new partnership with Epic Records signifies a remarkable turning point for Leray, following contractual challenges she faced in 2025. Last year, she candidly shared about her struggles with a former record label, 1801, and an individual named Billy J, who she claimed hindered her progress. Leray's determination to break free from past constraints underscores her resilience and commitment to her craft.
