In a revealing chat on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, the acclaimed actor shared insights from his meeting with Marvel execs. Speculations had been swirling about his potential Marvel involvement, prompting the discussion.

While discussions touched on Marvel's landscape and the Kang rumors, Domingo emphasized that there were no concrete offers or serious talks about him portraying Kang. He expressed a desire to craft his characters from scratch rather than stepping into established roles.

Preferring to develop a character organically, Domingo highlighted his pursuit of a unique role rather than a replacement. Despite ruling out Kang, he hinted at ongoing talks for a different role within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Having already contributed his voice to the Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man series, Domingo hinted at the possibility of a live-action Marvel role in the future.

As Jonathan Majors steps away from the Kang role following legal issues, Marvel shifted its plans towards a new direction. The upcoming Avengers installment, now titled Avengers: Doomsday, will focus on Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom instead of the Kang Dynasty narrative.
