KickFlip's Amaru opens up about his special bond with JYP Entertainment senior artist, TWICE's Mina!

During a recent YouTube Live broadcast on February 7 KST, KickFlip members Kyehoon and Amaru engaged with fans and shared some interesting insights. Amaru excitedly shared about his experience filming the "Mama Said" challenge with Mina.

Amaru disclosed, "Our parents have been close friends for years, so I've known Mina noona for a long time. She has been a constant source of support in my life."

He went on to reveal, "Mina noona initially hesitated about taking on a boy group dance challenge. I playfully nudged her, 'I'm finally making my debut. Don't you want to cheer me on?' And eventually, she agreed to learn the dance at home. It was Mina noona's first boy group dance challenge on TikTok."

Kyehoon chimed in with surprise at Amaru's sudden solo schedule even before their debut, recalling the moment he had to rush for makeup due to an unexpected engagement.

In a heartwarming gesture, Amaru gave a shoutout to Mina with a thumbs-up, affectionately saying, "Noona, I know you're probably not watching, but... (laughter) You kept refusing, but look where we are now... (laughter)."
