DJ Koo, holding his late wife Barbie Hsu's cremation urn, made a poignant return to Taiwan on February 6th. Barbie Hsu tragically passed away from pneumonia complications, and upon arrival in Taiwan, Koo Jun Yup asked the press to shield the urn with an umbrella to prevent startling her.

Accompanied by his family, Koo Jun Yup arrived at Taiwan's Songshan Airport from Japan's Haneda Airport on a small chartered plane. Despite hiding his grief behind a hat and mask, his sorrow was evident in his eyes as he disembarked.

As he carried the pink urn containing his wife's ashes, Koo Jun Yup requested the media to cover it with umbrellas out of respect for his late wife's peace. Barbie Hsu, who passed away at 48 while in Japan with her family, had her family honor her wish of no formal farewell ceremony.

Barbie's younger sister, Dee Hsu, expressed their belief that she is now content in heaven and emphasized Barbie's humble nature. Prior to her passing, Barbie had envisioned a joyful farewell filled with her favorite champagne and food, requesting loved ones not to shed tears.

Married to Chinese tycoon Wang Xiaofei before her untimely death, Barbie Hsu remarried Koo Jun Yup in 2022, reviving their 20-year love story. However, their time together was tragically cut short just before their third anniversary.
