The photography studio behind the leaked photos of 2PM's Ok Taecyeon and his girlfriend in Paris has issued a heartfelt apology for the unintended incident.
In a statement released on their official social media accounts on February 6 KST, the international photography studio acknowledged, "We are responsible for capturing the images in Paris back in April 2024. We have been inundated with inquiries regarding the photos featuring Ok Taecyeon and his girlfriend. It was not our intention to expose their relationship to the public."
Clarifying the situation, the studio expressed, "At the time of the photoshoot, we were unaware of the identities of the individuals involved as Korean celebrities. They had simply booked a session with us like any other couple. Notably, no specific instructions were given to withhold the release of the photos. We shared the images as per our usual practice."
Conveying their regrets, the studio conveyed, "We extend our sincerest apologies to Ok Taecyeon and his girlfriend for the unintended disclosure. We also extend a public apology for any distress caused. We emphasize that our actions were not intended to reveal personal information. As soon as we were made aware of the situation, we promptly removed the images. However, they had already begun circulating across the internet."
Prior to this incident, images of Ok Taecyeon and his girlfriend at the iconic Eiffel Tower in Paris had sparked engagement speculations. However, a representative from Taecyeon's agency, 51K, swiftly refuted the rumors, stating, "There are no imminent marriage plans. The artist is mindful of any distress this incident may have caused fans."
In other news, fans can anticipate Ok Taecyeon's upcoming Valentine's Day fan gathering, 'Sweety Okcat's Happy Valentine's Day', scheduled to take place at Ilchi Art Hall from February 15-16.
