/Article

Virtual idol group SKINZ, managed by Bridge Enter, is currently embroiled in controversy as fans accuse them of plagiarizing a song by popular group Stray Kids.

On January 31 KST, SKINZ released a pre-debut mixtape track named "The Way Home" in collaboration with a special broadcast of the SBS drama 'Love Scout'. This emotional rock ballad was touted as SKINZ's first self-composed track.

However, Stray Kids' supporters quickly pointed out similarities between SKINZ's track and a 2023 'SKZ-RECORD' release, "Untitled" by I.N feat. Hyunjin, alleging plagiarism.

Adding fuel to the fire, fans also noted the striking resemblance between the group names, SKINZ and Stray Kids (SKZ).

Renowned K-Pop producer EL CAPITXN, known for working with successful virtual idol group PLAVE, has been enlisted for SKINZ's debut album.
