Exciting Week Ahead for Crypto Market: Bitcoin Struggles Below $100,000 Mark

The crypto markets are abuzz with anticipation as a flurry of key events loom on the horizon. Savvy investors have the chance to make the most of the market volatility surrounding these events for potential trading gains.

Kentucky State Bitcoin Reserve Bill

In response to growing calls for a strategic national Bitcoin reserve in the US, several states have put forward BTC bills. Kentucky has now thrown its hat into the ring by announcing plans to unveil its own Bitcoin proposal.

Kentucky Representative TJ Roberts declared, “I will be introducing a bitcoin strategic reserve bill upon my return to the General Assembly.”

On the heels of this news, other states like Illinois, Indiana, Utah, and Arizona have also proposed similar legislation. South Dakota's State Representative, Logan Manhart, has hinted at joining the movement with a proposal of their own.

If Kentucky and South Dakota move forward with their plans, the tally of US states adopting Bitcoin reserve laws will climb to 13. This aligns with Dennis Porter's forecast that as many as 15 states will be exploring 'Strategic Bitcoin Reserve' measures by 2025. Porter, the CEO and co-founder of the Satoshi Action Fund, made this projection in a tweet on January 17.
