Kim Jaejoong's parents confess that they dreamt of becoming entertainers in their youth on the recent episode of "Newly Released Restaurant."

On the KBS 2TV Lunar New Year special "Newly Released Restaurant," a heartwarming day in the life of Asia's center Kim Jaejoong was showcased.

During the episode, Kim Jaejoong called his mother and said, "I sent a gift for your birthday. Please check it." The surprise gift was himself hidden inside a big box. When his mother opened it, she was taken aback with joy, commenting, "Have you ever seen such beautiful flowers in the world?"

Kim Jaejoong's parents then reminisced about their youth. His mother shared a memory of participating in a singing contest at the age of 17, where she won prize money and a fan, but Jaejoong's grandmother chased her away with a broom because she disapproved of her dream of becoming a singer. She expressed her affection, saying, "My dream was shattered back then, but Jaejoong made my dream come true."

Likewise, Kim Jaejoong's father revealed that he dreamt of becoming an actor in his youth. He confessed, "Although I couldn't become a star like you, I tried going out as a model for magazines." The episode also unveiled photos of Kim Jaejoong's father from his youth when he was referred to as the most handsome man in town.

Admiring his good looks, Lee Kyeung Hee commented, "He really was meant to be an actor," and Kim Jaejoong shared, "People used to mock me saying, 'Who's this foreigner?' at the time." To which, Boom empathized, "He looks like Alain Delon. It's understandable to have such misunderstandings. He must have been very popular."

In a playful banter, Kim Jaejoong's father claimed, "I did some photoshoots and modeling back in the day, and your mother fell for me." His wife retorted, "Stop lying again. You were chasing after me. I thought I shouldn't marry someone like you. You were too good-looking," acknowledging his handsome looks.
