Netflix’s 'The Devil’s Plan Death Room' made a successful return for its second season with an even more competitive twist. The show brings together a diverse group of participants for a seven-day intellectual battle under one roof, challenging their strategic thinking and survival instincts.

The new season features a lineup of well-known personalities, such as Go legend Lee Sedol, announcer Gang Ji Young, actress Yoon So Hee, poker player Seven High, former Miss Korea winner Lee Seung Hyun, influencer Jeong Hyun Gyu, model Choi Hyun Joon, actor Justin H, Min, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, and singer Chuu. In addition, civilian participants Kim Ha Rin, Park Sang Yeon, Son Eun Yoo, and YouTuber Tino join the mix.

During a press conference at Hotel Naru Seoul MGallery, Lee Sedol expressed how challenging and rewarding the experience was outside his usual realm of Go. Gang Ji Young and Yoon So Hee also shared their motivations for joining the show, highlighting the thrill of testing themselves in a competitive environment.

Other participants, like Kyuhyun, Chuu, and Lee Seung Hyun, embraced the opportunity to push themselves and explore new sides of their abilities. The civilian contestants, including Park Sang Yeon, Kim Ha Rin, Son Eun Yoo, and Tino, also spoke about their determination and excitement to compete in 'The Devil’s Plan Death Room.'

The highly-anticipated second season of 'The Devil’s Plan Death Room' is set to premiere on Netflix on May 6, with episodes to be released weekly over three weeks.
