Despite recent controversies involving Baek Jong Won, production for Netflix's Culinary Class Wars Season 2 continues as planned, with a target release date in the second half of the year.

Insiders in the industry have revealed that Culinary Class Wars 2 is set to debut in October. The filming process began in late March and is progressing smoothly. Baek Jong Won and Chef Ahn Sung Jae have returned as judges, just as they did in the first season.

While a Netflix representative mentioned that they are aiming for a second-half release, the exact launch date has yet to be confirmed.

Despite concerns over recent controversies related to Baek Jong Won's company, The Born Korea, his television work, including Culinary Class Wars 2, remains on track.

Furthermore, in addition to Culinary Class Wars 2, Baek Jong Won was seen filming The Genius Baek 3, a tvN variety show set in France, with footage shared online on April 27.

On the other hand, MBC's Chef of Antarctica, originally set to air in April, faced rumors of being postponed indefinitely. MBC clarified that the delay was due to breaking news coverage and the early election period, with the exact airing date to be announced once finalized.
