Two women have brought a lawsuit against TDE, alleging sexual misconduct, harassment, and contract breaches within the label's workplace culture. TDE has responded to these allegations with a strong rebuttal following a recent lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court by two anonymous women. The lawsuit points to a culture of harassment, assault, and contract violations within the Hip-Hop label, previously home to Kendrick Lamar. Top Dawg Entertainment has denounced the claims, calling it a "shakedown lawsuit" by Linda Luna and Ayah Altayri, who were not former employees of the label. TDE's lawyer Marty Singer has emphasized that there is evidence contradicting the allegations. One plaintiff accuses TDE's chief marketing officer of sexual battery and the label's president of harassment, while the other plaintiff details incidents of sexual misconduct and pressure into underage drinking. The women are represented by Attorney Shounak Dharap, who expressed condemnation of the alleged abuse and exploitation in the entertainment industry. Top Dawg Entertainment has not publicly commented on the lawsuit.
