Da Band’s Dylan Dili Criticizes Bad Boy Executive Shortly After His Passing: “Deceitful Con Artist”

In a sequence of Instagram Stories, Dili has accused Robinson of embezzling large sums of money from Da Band, a former group signed to Bad Boy. The allegations emerged shortly after the death of Robinson, a former executive at Bad Boy, due to cancer.

Dili revealed through his Instagram Stories that paperwork obtained in 2022 showed that Robinson, their supposed manager, was charging up to $150,000 to $200,000 per show for their performances and only paying each member $1500. Dili harshly criticized Robinson, calling him a thief and expressing no sympathy towards his passing.

Despite Robinson's significant role in shaping the careers of artists like The Notorious B.I.G. and Mary J. Blige, Dili did not hold back in his accusations against him, suggesting that Robinson's death was a relief and celebrating it. He promised to treat his own artists better than he was treated by Robinson.

Robinson's death was confirmed by industry colleague Sylvia Shann, who paid tribute to him on Instagram, describing him as a strong and beloved friend. However, Dili's reaction to Robinson's passing starkly contrasted with the sentiment expressed by Shann.
