SM Entertainment has officially declared that they will not provide any further comments on the Taeyeon Global Fan Union's statement concerning the recent cancellation of Girls' Generation's Taeyeon’s concert in Japan.

The fan union expressed significant disappointment and demanded clarification on the sudden cancellation, which was announced just two days before the show date.

Criticism from fans towards SM Entertainment focused on the lack of advance notice and the unexpected cancellation, which came shortly before the event without prior communication, causing confusion.

Fans were also dissatisfied with the delayed communication about the seat allocation and the multiple postponements of the event, which added to their frustration.

The fan union highlighted the detrimental impact on both local and international fans, many of whom had already traveled to Japan for the concert. Fans cited financial and emotional losses due to disrupted travel plans, including transportation, accommodation, and flights.

In their statement, the fan union criticized SM Entertainment for the absence of official communication and emphasized the need for a thorough investigation, accountability, and compensation for affected individuals.

SM Entertainment reiterated that they have no further comments on the issue when asked for a response.

Even after more than two weeks post-cancellation, fans are still awaiting updates on refund policies or any actions from the company. Japanese fans have reportedly taken steps to file complaints with consumer protection agencies.
