Coinbase, a popular cryptocurrency exchange, has added ZORA, the native token of the Zora platform, to its list of tradable assets. In addition to ZORA, Coinbase has also included Mantle (MNT) in its upcoming listings. The announcement led to a modest increase in the value of both tokens.
The addition of ZORA was revealed in a post made on X (formerly Twitter) by Coinbase. Shortly after the announcement, it was confirmed that ZORA was officially available for trading on the Coinbase platform. The token was marked with an "Experimental Label," indicating that it may have lower trading volume or be a new addition to Coinbase.
ZORA was launched just two days prior through an airdrop and was swiftly listed on various other exchanges. Following the news of its listing on Coinbase, the token's price rose by 2.3% to $0.02. ZORA's listing on such a prominent exchange further solidifies its presence in the cryptocurrency market.
Coinbase also added MNT to its listing roadmap. However, the launch of trading for MNT is dependent on market-making support and technical infrastructure readiness. Despite this, the value of MNT increased by 6.5% following the announcement, trading at $0.74 at the time of reporting.
The recent additions of ZORA and MNT to Coinbase's listing roadmap demonstrate the platform's commitment to promoting innovative blockchain projects and attracting mainstream investors.
