During the world tour concert 'JUST ODD' in Los Angeles on April 22, one of the members of the group JUST B, named Bain, publicly disclosed being a part of the LGBTQ community, expressing pride in their sexual identity during the event.

Bain, whose real name is Song Byung Hee and who is currently 25 years old, hails from Daejeon and completed his high school education through a qualification exam after graduating from Daejeon Gapcheon Middle School.

It is not common for South Korean public figures to openly discuss their sexual orientation. Actor Hong Suk Chun was one of the first to do so in 2000, sharing his experience during an appearance on Channel A’s 'Table for 4'. He reflected on the challenges of coming out, highlighting the impact on his relationships and personal growth.

Despite the initial difficulties, Hong Suk Chun eventually publicly announced his sexual orientation through a print interview in 2000. He recounted his family's struggle to accept his identity due to widespread prejudice against sexual minorities at the time. Even years later, his parents continue to offer their support, with Hong Suk Chun finding success in the restaurant business after facing setbacks following his disclosure.

In a more recent revelation, actress Youn Yuh Jung disclosed in an interview with a foreign media outlet that her eldest son is gay, sharing that he found a partner in New York and got married.

Choi Yeo Jin has taken legal action to address rumors circulating about her fiancé and his ex-wife.
