RIIZE recently concluded its inaugural character pop-up store event called 'WE LITTLE RIIZE @RIIZE PARK'. The event marked the one-year anniversary of their self-designed mascot series, 'WE LITTLE RIIZE' or RIRISE. Located in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, the event attracted an impressive number of 12,000 fans over a period of 17 days.
The fervor among fans was evident right from the beginning. Online reservations for the first week sold out within three minutes, and during the second week, over 1,000 people queued up before the daily opening for on-site registration. This unexpected surge turned the venue into a prominent spot in Seongsu.
The pop-up store resembled a theme park, featuring interactive zones and photo opportunities like RIIZE-co’s flying chair, Songyongdori’s ball pit, Ourakbam’s punching machine, Tonyangduck’s bumper cars, Ddolbyung’s four-cut photo booth, and Meongryong’s mini Viking ride. Visitors were delighted to take surprise photos with the life-sized RIRISE characters.
The merchandise was highly sought-after, with popular items like the ‘Long RIIZE Keyring’ selling out quickly and the DIY artwork T-shirts being restocked four times only to sell out again. Fans shared their experiences using the hashtag #리라즈가_진짜_많네 (“There’s seriously so much RIRISE”), keeping the excitement alive even after the event's conclusion.
In the meantime, RIIZE is in the final stages of preparing for the launch of their first full-length album in May.
