Actress Kim So Eun and professional soccer player Jung Dong Ho from Suwon FC in K League 1 have become the latest celebrity-athlete couple. Reports suggest that they have been in a relationship for over a year, starting from March 2023. Kim So Eun, born in 1989, and Jung Dong Ho, born in 1990, form a one-year older woman-younger man relationship.

Allegedly, the couple is considering marriage and has gone on multiple trips together, including to Japan and Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. They have even posted pictures wearing matching rings on social media, subtly indicating their romance.

Their acquaintance, former footballer Heo Beom San, is said to have introduced them during a gathering with a screen golf group. Jung Dong Ho is believed to have been captivated by Kim So Eun from their first meeting and actively courted her.

Kim So Eun, who is currently not affiliated with any agency after departing from Ascendio Entertainment in September last year, made a recent appearance as a guest on SBS variety show Shoes Off, Single for Men in December.

Jung Dong Ho launched his professional football career in 2009 with Yokohama F. Marinos in Japan’s J.League 1. A seasoned defender, he participated in the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup for South Korea and joined the senior national team in 2015. Since 2021, he has been a player for Suwon FC.
