Actor Kim Jae Wook recently paid his respects to the late Japanese actress Miho Nakayama, who passed away unexpectedly at the close of the previous year.

Kim Jae Wook shared his condolences on social media on April 22nd, reminiscing about their time together and expressing his sorrow. He recalled their initial meeting during a fitting for their shared project, cherishing the memories of their collaboration and the genuine communication they shared during the challenging filming process. He remembered Nakayama’s warm smile and the deep connection they established, labeling the moments they spent together as a special summer experience.

The actor ended his message by expressing his gratitude for the opportunity to work alongside Nakayama and wished her eternal peace.

In the movie "Butterfly Sleep," released in 2018, Kim Jae Wook and Miho Nakayama starred together in roles that portrayed bestselling author Ryoko and aspiring writer Chan Hae, respectively.

Miho Nakayama, who was born in 1970 and gained popularity in Korea for her role in Love Letter, a film by Shunji Iwai, tragically passed away in December of the previous year at her home in Shibuya, Tokyo, due to an accident while bathing.
