RM from the band BTS has recently shared an update that marks a significant milestone - only 50 days left until his military discharge. On his social media story on April 21st KST, RM posted a screenshot from a countdown app showing the countdown with a message asking if fans have planned their final vacation. The post, uploaded without a caption, received enthusiastic responses from fans worldwide who have been eagerly waiting for the return of BTS’s leader.

RM began his mandatory military service in December 2023 and is slated to be discharged on June 10th, the same day as V. Jimin and Jungkook will be back on June 11th, and SUGA, currently working as a public service worker, will finish his service on June 21st.

Once RM, V, Jimin, Jungkook, and SUGA complete their service, BTS will be reunited, a highly anticipated moment for fans since the group members began their enlistments.

Even with his military responsibilities, RM has stayed connected with fans through social media, sharing pictures during his leave and hinting at the group's full-scale comeback in 2025 with a message posted in January. Meanwhile, Jin and J-Hope have already completed their service and are back to solo activities, maintaining the BTS presence throughout the group's break.

As the countdown nears its end, BTS fans are looking forward to late 2024 when the group is expected to resume group activities. Recent statements from HYBE's top management suggest that BTS may not return as a group until 2025.
