During a segment of Vogue's Life in Looks video series, the rapper explained that he was in a rush to avoid being late for the prestigious event. In the video, he expressed regret for unintentionally causing inconvenience to the woman and disrupting her glasses in the process.

The incident, captured on video, depicted Rocky pushing through a crowd and stepping on a fan's shoulder to cross the barricade. This action caused the woman's glasses to get displaced and quickly went viral online.

In response, A$AP Rocky directly apologized in the video, expressing regret for his actions and acknowledging his mistake. The woman later shared a selfie on social media, humorously recounting the incident with the rapper and his response.

Rocky attended the 2023 Met Gala accompanied by his longtime partner Rihanna. He is also scheduled to co-chair the 2025 Met Gala, alongside Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, Pharrell Williams, and Anna Wintour.
