SZA has introduced her new vegan lip gloss line called Not Beauty, following her discreet use of the product since her performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show with Kendrick Lamar in February. The Grammy-winning artist has been subtly showcasing her Not Beauty glosses by incorporating them into her public appearances without drawing attention to them. Not Beauty's debut featured three shades: "In the Flesh" in soft pink, "Strawberry Jam" in a berry tone, and a clear gloss named "Quartz." SZA mentioned that her preferred shades are the first two, which she uses to give her lips a subtle yet impactful look. She stated that she prefers a lip look that is effortless but adds a glossy finish. SZA, also known as Solána Rowe, clarified that Not Beauty is not merely another celebrity makeup line but a product that fulfills a specific need she personally experienced. The cruelty-free and vegan glosses will be sold at pop-up shops during her upcoming Grand National Tour with Kendrick Lamar which kicks off in Minnesota. SZA also disclosed plans to expand the brand by introducing lip stains, liners, and creams in the future.
