BTS's RM Shares Heartfelt Lunar New Year Message with Fans

In a touching message posted on Weverse on February 1 KST, BTS member RM sent warm greetings to his fans for the Lunar New Year celebration.

RM expressed, "Hello, my beloved people. I hope you had a wonderful Lunar New Year holiday. Did you try some tteokguk?" Reflecting on his age, RM humorously mentioned feeling like an "ahjusshi" at 32 in Korean age, despite still considering himself 30 in international age. He also shared his promotion to sergeant, jokingly embracing the title of "Sergeant Kim" alongside his fellow BTS members, as they navigate the new phase of army life.

Looking back on the eventful year of 2024, RM expressed gratitude for the experiences, both challenging and memorable. He also shared his anticipation for returning to civilian life and promised to share more heartfelt words with fans as Kim Namjoon in the future. As his discharge date of June 10 approaches, RM is staying busy with activities like exercise, playing the saxophone, and studying for his return to civilian life.

RM concluded his message with a heartwarming declaration of love for his fans and a reassuring note that he is doing well. Fans can anticipate his return in June, counting down the days with RM as they look forward to his future endeavors.

In December 2023, RM enlisted in the ROK Army's military band and is set to be discharged on June 10, marking a significant milestone in his military service journey. Additionally, BTS' album 'Map of the Soul: 7 ~ The Journey ~' has achieved BRIT Gold Certification, adding to the group's list of remarkable accomplishments.
