At the recent annual board meeting of HYBE Labels on March 31 KST, shareholders met under the leadership of CEO Lee Jae Sang. During the meeting, CEO Lee was questioned about the possibility of BTS resuming their group activities in 2025.

Lee responded that all BTS members would complete their military service duties this year. However, he expressed caution by mentioning that the members would require sufficient time to prepare upon their return. The company is currently making necessary arrangements and engaging in discussions with top music producers. Lee emphasized the importance of considering the members' perspective since BTS holds a prominent global artist status.

Regarding sales projections upon BTS's return, Chief Financial Officer Lee Kyung Joon mentioned that promotion plans for 2026 are still under discussion, leading to a lack of concrete projections at the moment.

Despite speculation by netizens, it appears there are no immediate plans for BTS to resume group activities in 2025, even as the youngest members complete their mandatory service later this June. There are also rumors suggesting that the decision on resuming group activities in 2026 might hinge on the members' contract renewals coming up in about 1 to 2 years.
