A soldier who served together with BTS member V in the same unit expressed his heartfelt gratitude towards the K-Pop star on April 19 KST. Although the soldier was discharged before V, he conveyed his thanks through a message on social media.

In his message addressed to V, the soldier praised V for his outstanding achievements despite his injuries, such as ranking first in target shooting and winter urban warfare training, and receiving the Military Police Exemplary Award. V's dedication inspired the soldier to push himself harder during their training sessions, including a memorable 3 km run where they motivated each other to excel.

The soldier cherished memories of working out with V and another comrade, using equipment donated by V, and enjoying meals together outside the base. V's strong work ethic and passion influenced the soldier to pursue his goal of becoming a physical therapist, encouraging him to maintain his commitment to exercise and studies even after his discharge.

The close bond between the soldier and V was captured in friendly photos shared by the soldier. Currently, V is fulfilling his mandatory military service duties as a member of the Special Duty Team (SDT) of the ROK Military Police Force, with his discharge scheduled for June 10 this year.
