Mach-Hommy Controversy: Knxwledge Claims Beats Theft and Massive Vinyl Loss
/Article

Knxwledge has accused Mach-Hommy of taking a full album's worth of beats and turning them into a $1,000 vinyl release, labeling him a "thief" in a heated rant.

The dispute between Knxwledge and Mach-Hommy has escalated from being collaborators to engaging in a rap feud, unfolding on Instagram Stories. During a fan Q&A session, Knxwledge unexpectedly criticized Mach-Hommy for allegedly stealing his beats for a high-priced vinyl release, bluntly calling him out as a thief.

This conflict seemed to emerge suddenly but may have been brewing beneath the surface. Knxwledge also indirectly criticized Mach-Hommy's fans, suggesting they don't truly understand the artist. The duo previously worked together on tracks like "Fresh Off the Boat," "Gnarly Dude," and "Ron van Clief," but their relationship appears to have soured.

Though Knxwledge did not reveal the specific project where the alleged theft occurred, it is speculated to be The S#### released in 2017 and sold for $1,000 per vinyl copy on Mach-Hommy's website. Mach-Hommy has not responded to these accusations, maintaining silence despite the success of his previous album #RICHAXXHAITIAN. In contrast, Knxwledge recently won a Grammy for his collaboration with Anderson .Paak on the album Why Lawd?

Given their individual successes, it is unlikely that this dispute will escalate further, but fans remain curious to see if Mach-Hommy will respond to Knxwledge's allegations.
