The Netflix show 'Kian's Bizarre B&B' has gained popularity for its unique concept and the entertaining dynamic among the cast. The show recently received praise for correctly identifying the Korean territory of Dokdo in subtitles in various languages.

'Kian's Bizarre B&B' is a reality series where Kian84, a webtoon artist and entertainer, operates a guesthouse on Ulleungdo, hosting guests like BTS’s Jin and Ji Ye Eun.

In Episode 6, a father visits the guesthouse with his sons and travels to Dokdo. The episode showcases scenic views of Dokdo, with the name clearly displayed as “독도” in Korean and as “DOKDO” in English subtitles, and “独島(ドクト)” in Japanese subtitles.

Previously, some streaming platforms incorrectly labeled Dokdo as “Takeshima,” but 'Kian's Bizarre B&B' is being commended for accurately naming the island in different languages.

Viewers reacted positively, with many noting the inclusion of Dokdo in Netflix subtitles and praising it for its accuracy. The show quickly became the number one series on Netflix Korea and entered the Top 10 in various countries like Singapore, Brazil, and Japan, showcasing its growing global appeal.

The series, helmed by PD Jung Hyo Min and writer Yoon Shin Hye, known for 'Hyori’s Bed and Breakfast,' has been eagerly anticipated. During the press conference, PD Jung mentioned the viewers' appreciation for the show's unique guesthouse concept and the engaging interactions among the staff and guests.

Episodes 7 to 9 are set to premiere on April 22.
