As reported by the Seoul Yonsan Police on April 18 KST, a man in his 30s was apprehended for breaking into comedian Park Na Rae's residence and stealing a significant amount of Korean won in valuables. The suspect, identified as 'A', had previously intruded into Park Na Rae's private home in Yongsan-gu, Itaewon-dong, on April 4 KST, where he stole various items, including jewelry. Upon further investigation, it was revealed that 'A' had also committed a burglary in another residence in Yongsan-gu at the end of March, as captured by CCTV footage. Consequently, the individual has been charged with two counts of trespassing and theft and has been handed over to the prosecution.
Initial findings indicated that 'A' did not have any prior connection with Park Na Rae and was unaware of her identity before carrying out the theft.
It was highlighted that reality shows featuring home routines such as 'I Live Alone' could potentially expose celebrities to a higher risk of burglary, according to an expert's viewpoint.
