Popular comedian turned YouTuber Illzuata, also known as Kim Joo Yeon, is facing a wave of criticism after backing MBC weathercaster Kim Ga Young amidst the controversies surrounding the late Oh Yoanna.
Recently, a YouTube channel disclosed a conversation revealing shocking details about the late announcer's funeral, where it was alleged that Kim Ga Young was involved in a damaging group chat that demeaned Oh Yoanna. The chat logs, spanning from December 2022 to January 2023, unveiled Kim Ga Young's participation along with four others, including a prominent MBC weathercaster.
Although the authenticity of these claims remains unverified, Illzuata's past statements defending Kim Ga Young have resurfaced, igniting a backlash from the public.
Oh Yoanna, who reportedly fell victim to workplace harassment, led to suspicions towards her senior at MBC, Kim Ga Young. The public scrutiny intensified as netizens shared lists of MBC weathercasters in an attempt to identify the perpetrators.
