On April 16th, INB100, the agency managing EXO’s Baekhyun, declared that they have lodged a criminal complaint against individuals who have been spreading harmful content about the artist online.

The agency disclosed, “We have diligently gathered evidence of harmful posts and comments aimed at our artist Baekhyun on various online platforms such as social media, online communities, and Daum cafes. After compiling the proof, we filed a formal complaint with the Gwangjin Police Station on April 15th, accusing the perpetrators of defamation, insult, dissemination of false information, and sexual harassment.”

INB100 underscored their strong stance by stating, “We will continue to monitor online activities and thoroughly examine all evidence provided by fans to collect proof. We do not intend to show any leniency or seek settlements in such matters, and we will take decisive legal measures to safeguard our artist's rights and integrity.”

This incident highlights another case where a K-pop agency has taken a tough stance against cyberbullying, as artists remain vulnerable to substantial harm from online defamation and harassment.
