Seohyun and Ok Taecyeon's upcoming fantasy romance drama titled 'My First Night With the Male Lead' is finally scheduled to air on June 11th KST after facing challenges and controversy during production. The plot revolves around a college student who mysteriously swaps bodies with a minor character from a romance novel and embarks on an unexpected romantic encounter with the male lead, leading to a whirlwind of events in what is described as a "no-brakes detour fantasy romance."

The directors Lee Woong Hee and Kang Soo Yeon, along with screenwriter Jeon Sun Young, aim to deliver a romantic story that defies traditional boundaries, promising viewers an escape into a world of fantasy. Despite its creative vision, the show encountered criticism for damaging a historic site, Byeongsan Seowon, while filming. Responding to public concerns, KBS decided to remove all scenes shot at the UNESCO World Heritage location to address the issue.
