BTS member j-hope embarked on his solo tour 'HOPE ON THE STAGE' in Asia with a spectacular two-day sold-out show in Manila at the Mall of Asia Arena, following his successful North American leg earlier in April.
Dressed in a vibrant all-red outfit with dazzling embellishments, j-hope commenced the two-hour concert with a dynamic performance of his songs "What if...," "Pandora's Box," "Arson," and "Stop," setting the stage ablaze with high-energy acts, enhanced by fireworks and fiery effects.
Expressing his gratitude, j-hope lauded the audience, saying, "You guys are amazing. I put a lot of effort into this. Performing these songs for you makes me incredibly happy." He appreciated the fans in Manila for their enthusiastic participation throughout the concert, calling them his sweetest dreams and acknowledging their vibrant energy.
The concert playlist included tracks like "MORE," "on the street," "i wonder...," "Daydream," and "Chicken Noodle Soup," as well as his recent hits "Sweet Dreams" and "MONA LISA." Paying homage to BTS, j-hope delighted ARMYs with a lively medley of "Airplane pt. 2," "MIC Drop," "Silver Spoon (Baepsae)," and "Dis-ease."
Acknowledging the significance of the Asia tour, j-hope described the Manila concert as a precious moment and expressed his gratitude for the fans' inspiration and energy, fueling his excitement for the rest of the tour. Concluding with vibrant performances of "= (Equal Sign)," "Future," and "NEURON," j-hope promised to return to Manila, stating that being on stage made him the happiest.
