Last November, NewJeans announced their separation from their agency, ADOR, and rebranded as NJZ. However, a recent court ruling backed ADOR in a legal dispute restricting the members from taking on new contracts independently. Despite NewJeans presenting several issues concerning their split from ADOR, the court ruled against them, leading to a halt in their activities. They subsequently changed their name back to mhdhh, reflecting the initials of the members. NewJeans has filed a lawsuit to contest the court's decision and challenge the legitimacy of their exclusive contracts.
