On April 11th, ADOR, the management agency for the music group NewJeans, released a statement addressing the band's temporary break due to a legal dispute. In their message, NewJeans assured their fans, affectionately called Bunnies, that despite the current challenges, they are hopeful and will come back stronger. The group initially created a new social media account called 'NJZ' to stay connected with fans; however, they were later restricted from engaging in activities related to their agency status by a court-issued injunction in response to ADOR’s request. Consequently, the members, Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein, modified their SNS username to 'mhdhh,' a blend of their initials.

In a sincere message, the NewJeans members expressed their appreciation for the letters received from fans, acknowledging the emotional impact of the comforting and encouraging words they received. Although they sometimes question their worthiness of such love, they aspire to be individuals that Bunnies can be proud of, drawing strength from interacting with their fans, especially during challenging times.

Despite the obstacles, NewJeans conveyed optimism about the future, emphasizing their eagerness to reunite with their Bunnies and share beloved music together. ADOR confirmed that the group is prioritizing self-care, maintaining good health, eating well, and cherishing time with family and each other.

While respecting the court’s ruling, NewJeans has lodged an objection to the injunction, with a closed-door hearing taking place. Recent reports of disputes among the members’ parents were refuted by ADOR as entirely untrue. ADOR is dedicated to resolving the legal matters promptly, ensuring that NewJeans will make a triumphant comeback for their steadfast supporters.
