The Northern Gyeonggi Police recently captured 8 people involved in producing and circulating illicit deepfake videos featuring HYBE Labels artists, according to reports on April 11 KST. Six of these individuals have been arrested and are set to be prosecuted for generating and sharing deepfake content via Telegram chat rooms.

Earlier, the collaboration between HYBE Labels and the Northern Gyeonggi Police was established to combat cyber deepfake offenses. Following this partnership, an investigation was launched into deepfake material featuring HYBE Labels artists, with the agency cooperating by providing evidence and details about suspected individuals. Consequently, the Northern Gyeonggi Police successfully identified the culprits.

Additionally, followers are encouraged to report instances of cyber deepfake crimes targeting artists directly to HYBE Labels.
