Popular television personality Park Na Rae has reportedly fallen victim to a theft involving valuable items worth millions of Korean won. The authorities are treating the incident as an inside job. The police, who are actively investigating the case, reached this conclusion following initial assessments.
Park Na Rae noticed the disappearance of her valuables on April 7 and promptly reported the theft to the authorities the next day. Among the missing items are expensive jewelry, leading to financial losses in the millions of Korean won. The investigation is facing challenges in pinpointing the exact timing and extent of the theft, necessitating further information to emerge through ongoing police inquiries.
Given the absence of evidence indicating external intrusion, law enforcement suspects that the theft was carried out by someone with insider knowledge. They are now focusing their efforts on delving deeper into the case.
The incident left Park Na Rae so shocked that she had to cancel her scheduled appearance on MBC Radio Standard FM's 'Son Tae Jin's Trot Radio' on April 8.
Park Na Rae had been showcasing her daily life in her Itaewon residence in Seoul on the TV show 'I Live Alone' until recently. Her lavish detached home made headlines when she acquired it through auction in 2021 for 5.511 billion Korean won (approximately 3.7 million USD), despite its appraisal value of 6.09 billion Korean won (around 4.13 million USD).
