European pharmaceutical companies expressed concerns about U.S. President Donald Trump's tariffs during a meeting with European Commission president, stating that such tariffs could accelerate their shift toward the United States. The European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) urged EU President Ursula von der Leyen to take quick and decisive actions to prevent the industry from migrating to the U.S. The sources chose to remain anonymous as they were not authorized to disclose meeting details.
